Speed Test for TTP...?

I don't know if this has ever been considered, so forgive me if this is redundant.

Recently, I learned about www.speedtest.net, where you can test your ping/upload-signal/download-signal, among other things, to specific ISP hubs throughout the country. It's fairly self explanatory how to run the test(s), easy to do, and you don't have to be a rocket scientist (like most of the people here at TTP are, specifically, ...bigdog..., 11BravoPathfinder, w4chosen, sjt17, and many, many others too numerous to list for the purposes of this post!) to operate the link and it's features.

My question is this; they have a link on that website that allows you to put a free SpeedTest on a website for people to use to check their ping/upload/download signal strength....could we have that installed here?

I don't think they mesh well with what we have.....and there's so many test companies out there that do this. Essentially it's advertising for them.

Well I think it would be a great idea to get something like that maby not that company but one that would work for us because right now me being in the middle of a move it would be nice to get an idea of what my ping might be on the TTP servers and it would be good for others in a move or getting diffrent internet provider
