The way people are kicked for reserve slot players...

I've only ever been kicked from the CSS server ONCE!!!

I think it caught my ping during a spike :-P

Just a note of something I've noticed:
If the CS:S server is 22/24 players, you can connect without a reserve slot; 23/34 you can't.
But, not true with TF2 server, must be down to 20/24 to connect without reserve slot.
Is there extra admin reserve slots @ TF2 server causing this? 3 instead of 1?
Waiting for notification of reservist slot acceptance for TF2 now, paid dues, but hasn't been authorized yet.
I understand the wait for review of receipt and actually entering Steam ID ; this isn't a complaint, just couldn't see why a non-reserve-slot can't connect with 2 open players slots shown in server list.
Was hoping to get it done by 8PM tonight, for practice.

Yes..there are the extra admin/reserve slots for most game servers.

i have the same problem man

i cant begin to tell you how much i get kick because of reserve slots

it pisses me off but hey, its just how TTP works

i simply go to the other server, or if no one is on, play later

or you can be obnoxious and just slam ur fists on your comp desk

trust me, ive done that before (bad day)

or you can be impatient and open up the server info and press refresh until there is 20/22 people on the server

i do it all the time

the choice is yours

TF2 should let people connect if it says 20/24... like CSS it's limit is at 22/24. If it's truly not letting non-reservists connect at 20/24, then that's an issue.

But to prove the issue exists, I want screenshots of (1) what does the player list say from your in-game browser and (2) what is the error message the server gives back.

So if your kicked and it's 20/24, take a screenshot of the kick message, and then refresh your in-game player list for that server and take a screenshot of that.

1. You are complaining about having to wait, so what exactly are you getting for free? Every time I hit join, for any TTP server I never wait, not even a second, can you say the same?

2. It supports the community, but I guess some people are just parasites. They want to suck the life out of systems, and never give anything back. Not you in particular of course, unless you feel it is about you.

Ive said this before, we ALL WANT TTP TO GET MORE RESERVISTS.

What we DONT WANT is to have to pay to play on TTP 100% of the time.

Its not what TTP was founded on.
