perhaps if you had more than 2 posts to your name, such a blunt and baseless criticism would be taken seriously.

if you want to step up and help TTP BF2 be a better place, then do so. Be an admin. Help.

But to say there aren't any admins in game to deal with issues.......that's just ridiculous. Not even worth addressing, since it's so ridiculously false.

I was going to write a piece myself on the same subject this morning. Therefore I am quite glad you have got the ball rolling.

I agree with all you have stated. But please let me add a little to the mix.

Of late I have been growing ever restless with the state of play on the BF2 server. Infact I have looked over the fence at the 2142 state of play and have ordered said game.

The state of gameplay on the server in question looks to be top notch to say the least and they most certainly do not tolerate squads or individuals who do not team play. That said, I will address what I believe is wrong.


After being team killed on purpose some three times this week for different reasons I have given up posting screen shots. I have not posted these screens because the same people are back time after time playing in there non team playing way making life as unbarable as possible for those that want to squad up and have a great battle. Correct me if I am wrong here, but being in a squad of team players and being in the middle of a giant firefight is "fun as fuck".

All day yesterday and last night was the pinnacle of bad play, spoilt brats,hacks and other assorted idiots that quite frankly should be playing STAR WARS LEGO ADDITION on MR BEANS server for the infantile and deranged.

Whilst awaiting the arrival of players I know have the totally opposite characters as those previously stated... I and others had to endure this........And when the great players and people arrived they noticed that the server they frequent had been taken over by non team players that really could not give a fuck about the way we want to play our games. They soon became disgruntled and left. Some tried to stay and lead the way. But these people were not interested in our ways.

But lets face it. Some people do not want to be led. They do not want to squad up and stand side by side with you and taste a little blood and tears. No grit. No heart and they do not give a fuck about you.

There they will wait for there favorite toys. WO be tide any one who wants to use it. They are dealt with in there brattish manner. I and I believe it was the 60 minute reporter watched in amazement as four people started to massacre each other for a heli....only to be bombed by the enemy.

The last game I played last night was as commander on Kubra Dam.

I cajoled and swore and tried everything I could to get players to squad up and become an effective fighting force. We had two squads out of seven that resembled anything like a cohesive fighting force. The other squads were made up of two's and three's. Would they come together?. No, too much of a pain in the ass for them.

Two squad leaders were dancing together like idiots waiting for jets all through the game. It effectively took two squads of the field. When mentioned they laughed and said they are fed up of losing. Getting there ass kicked.

Well I have news for you.....YOUR THE REASON WE LOST YOU NON TEAM PLAYING DUMB FUCK.


I have not seen most of the players that was on before. I hope I do not again.

Having to contend with one idiot of high rank running around wake with a kill of 37-3 with a carbine just made me laugh. Most people do not believe there is a hack until a it rains jeeps. Sad.

this is why I never play on friday and saturday nights. If I did....I'd be banning half the server.

Post up those screen shots, those stats, those names, but don't ever stop. The fact that you've given up trying to help your fellow BF2ers means that those hackers and ITKers have won another victory by beating you. If you can't get a hold of an admin in game, try again and again. In game texts are hard to see. I know it works for 2142, but something you may try is typing "|c00 MMessage here". And yes, the first letter of the actual message does need to be repeated.

I did not say I had given up. Just that I do not waste my time collecting evidence, for it not to be acted on or for no feed back. If I see the same people arrive back on this sever...That means inaction.

When I play I do all I can for my squad and my team......AS ALL WHO KNOW WHO PLAY WITH ME. As you do not.

I did not write what I did to have a go at admins. If there was not a problem on said server during the weekends this thread would not have happened.

I have written what I have written to try to make a change. If it is a case of more admins......Then pass it on. I am more that willing.

If it doesn't appear like your info is being acted upon, make a bigger deal about it. Don't assume that nothing is acted upon, and if you really want to help, put your hat in the Admin ring.

I do agree with BD fromn when i was playing (and this is when you could find a server almost full of regs) there were always problems on the weekends with the little kiddies showing up and being dicks. It also used to become worthless to play after about midnight server time any day of the week, so many tks and other things. Trust me there were a few night (again this is based on past experience so it may not be current) i was able to get like 10 Screenshots in less then an hour of ITKs for jets and other things. Why i advoid playing later in the night on any servers unless i know the people, ttp or not, since i have a feeling its more universal then just the TTP servers. Esp. since all the jackasses love to come out late at night (most admins in communities have other things in life and can't be on all the time so these people like to take advantage of the fact many admins may be sleeping due to the time)
