Account Deleted?

I was browsing the Off the Server forums. I selected the next page to a thread and BAM I was signed out. I thought my cookies expired or whatever. So I go to login and it says that my username: WorstPE doesn't exist anymore.

What happened?

FUCK. I was just trying to install the ad management mod, and cleaning up the permission groups that would be able to see/not see the ads. We still had 300+ people "uncategorized" as "regular members", meaning they don't have a primary group. I remove these people this group...however in this situation, that means they were deleted.

how we fix it...who knows. It's not that many people, but there's certainly a few notables on there.

Syrringe, wickedtribe, worstpe, xnthir, zensaohu....

totally my fault. I'll talk to the web ninjas and see if we can fix this. till then, if you know these people and can contact them by other means, tell them what happened. they can reregister (even as their own name, perhaps).....but we'll try to get their old accounts set back up.

my bad, worst. I was doing some housekeeping, and rather than removing people from a redundant, unnecessary group, it instead deleted them entirely. you're one of those people.

pm me with your necessary permissions till we can get this fixed.

I am very sorry, worst. The web admins will get into the database and likely be able to restore your account/login.

why couldn't mine be deleted accidentally. I like presents.

Im sure im not the only victim of the WHOOPSIE made by our big guys. Looks like all the S-Z people got deleted somehow....I talked to hub and apparently its being handled. If I lose that user name...no biggie. Will just have to get back to 4k posts............somehow??
