Thread: Anyone Going Play Neverwinter?

I'll give it a whirl.

Again I know it's still only beta, but my first impression is meh. I'm at level 9 and so far have only had 2 fights maybe that I actually had to do more than just hack and slash.

Aside from that, the game itself just doesn't give me the same D&D feel. It feels like more of a hack and slash action game than a true RPG, the controls are a bit laggy in response and I'm finding myself not needing to use block as much as I should be let alone my powers. I'll keep going in the hopes that the game gets patched to fix the minor issues(and cause I plan on doing a overview of the beta), and that it gets more RPG feeling when I get more powers.

I was mildly interested. I am going to try the open beta this week then we'll see.

It's alright in the little bit I've played. Need to get to a higher level to really decide if I like it or not.
