Anyone Going Play Neverwinter?

New free to play fantasy mmo based on dungeons and dragons. Looks like a neat little dungeon crawler. Curious if anyone here going try it today as just went open beta.

I tried it about a month ago when they had an open weekend...it has potential. I only made it to level 10 or so as a warrior but it was fun. Definitely worth a shot when i have some more time to play.

I might check this out since it's F2P but for now it just made me want to dust off NWN2.

I really liked the story in NWN2, but the control scheme was just so clunky that I couldn't play through it more than once. Found the control scheme even worse than DA:O, because it was both slow AND unintuitive lol.

Might give Neverwinter a try, but probably not anytime soon. Already have a ton of games to play and not enough time to play them lol.

Yeah, the controls in NWN2 were a bit wonky but just like anything else you get used to them. There were a lot of great player run servers. Also seconding Kanati. I am never going to catch up on playing games.. You'd think I would learn from that and stop buying them.

I know it's only in Beta, but I'm highly saddened by the lack of a Ranger class(which is what I choose for MMOs). I hear they are building one so that's good, but till that time idk if this game will keep my attention without me being a badass archer.

I'll probably also give it a look....

but I'm also still hoping to get a Whitehouse response to my petition to make days 36 hours instead of a measly 24. No luck yet though.
