Re: World of Warcraft
played it back when it was cool. Raided, all that fun stuff.
I cut bait before the expansion, I was a bit put off that all my 'work' would be pointless.
My only problem with WoW is simply the fact that it is now the standard for MMO's. People forget there are other games, and there were many before WoW. They also forget that the only reason WoW is huge was because it had a massive budget to begin with, and the support of the Blizzard name/franchise.
I'll wait for Warhammer

Re: World of Warcraft
My problem with wow was "where the fuck is the War?" Isnt that right there in the damn title?
I played for a year or so, my woman really enjoyed it and I like playing with her, but after awhile the only thing to do is grind hard as shit instances for nothing but frustration. The final straw was all the crazy nice shit that was green that you would be getting the day after you installed the expansion that blew my fancy purples out of the water...
Now WHO on the other hand, pushes you into player vs player combat from nearly the starting levels. It is what Warcraft should have been from the begining. War is truly everywhere in WHO.
