I'll help you out I like the other expantions they are a nice break but the story line in Prophices is so much better. And Monk is a hard class to work with its taken me at least 48 guild battles over 200 Aliance Battles and countless PvP arena battles to figure my monk out completly. Try ranger or warrior those can pretty much do anything and be all right.

I did the same and I didn't buy the expansion(1st one Factions?) and I was left in the dust when all my "friends" got it and they never returned so I played like 3 months and that was it.

You don't need disks, just download it from the main GW website.

The expansions are worth it, but aren't required; Prophecies is good on its own. Any of you want a guild invite, so you can hook up with us easier? I'll just need an In Game Name from you. I know I'm more than happy to help with any mission in any campaign, and I know there are some others who would be too; even if not, I can easily get you through 90% of the missions with heroes and henchmen.

Also, monks are not that fun to play in PvE, in my opinion. Especially with Henchmen. Healing AI just gets a bit old after a while, spamming the same skills. However, wiki.guildwars.com and pvxwiki.com both have some very useful information on monks, and other classes (pvxwiki is a build site, and the GW Wiki has guides to playing each class, and tons of information on everything).

Sad. I like monks. I haven't logged on in ages, so I'll have to hop on and check what I named myself :P

I have GW. And I PvE farm alot. And PvP HA , RA , TA , ect. I 1v1 and ALWAYS win. :P. My main is assassin.

We should all play. I'm currently engrossed in learning to stay alive for more than a few seconds in BF2, but if you guys let me know when you are playing I'll get GW installed again and hop in. Is there a good way to find out who's playing at any given time?

There is always xFire. My xFire is "Cheated". I can help you, as you see my characters, I use to play way too much. I can get on right no if you want. CoD4 doesn't get started until about 5. 8)
