Meh. Grinding pvp XP in white sands is not my idea of a fun time. Sure, it's great if your an assassin or a ranger, but it's a bitch everywhere else.

I haven't been in it yet, but apparently the commons is pvp heaven. You can climb onto the tops of most of the buildings, so it can be a fight for the high ground. I'm 72ish now, I think I can head there and give it a go and let you know.

The murder system is ok, and the added guards make pad camping at least a little more challenging. It still happens, but it's easier to get away now, I think. The rebalancing of all characters has really made fights last longer, so you can survive one or two CCs and at least get a swing in before you die. Melee damage got nerfed pretty hard, which is lame, but it's still quite effective. They implemented farmable resources for T3 stuff, so you have to do some world pvp to get it. Sieges haven't worked since the patch, just massive lagfests, so I don't know how that's going.

Translation: Our 'skill based, not gear based' gameplay idea went down the pipe, so all gear has stats, but we've at least gotten transparent with the stats, so you have an idea of what gets added to your character per point and what stuff is better overall. Also, we implemented 'pvp only' stats on the pvp gear.

Yeah, this is there. I haven't seen much of it yet, though.
