WoW Cataclysm Announced

Hidden away in his sanctuary within Deepholm, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against Azeroth and biding his time until he can reforge the world in molten fire. Soon, Deathwing the Destroyer will return to the surface, and his eruption from Deepholm will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents.

In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, players will be able to play as two new races -- goblins and worgen -- as they explore newly revealed parts of Azeroth and re-experience familiar zones across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, areas rewrought by the cataclysm and filled with new opportunities for adventure. Players will achieve new levels of power, take on challenging new dungeons and raids, and experience sweeping changes that will alter the face of Azeroth forever.

ooohh worgen. I remember when BC was coming out before draenei was announced people were thinking worgen was gonna be the alliance new race.

I also thought the new expansion was gonna be about the emerald dream

some of these new class combinations are kinda disturbing. kinda makes it look like their milking that part of the game

All I can say is FUCK YEAH! I love that worgens are playable and how you can now fly in azeroth, along with some low lvl instances arenow heroic and such, I hope they open up uldaman and Grim Batrol in this expansion, any idea on a release date? Also I knew dwarf mages were commin, cause when i bought wow in 06 it says dwarves could play mages, and dwarf shamans........dont know how that will work.....along with tauren classes gettin a pally class.

how are they gonna explain troll druid that so goes against lore... unless they go with the zul'aman and zul'gurrub aspects... but then theyd have to make completely different transformations for the trolls... oh man my brain hurts

Yeah most of this new expansion info is quite startling , although having a goblin rogue will be nice to finally pwn all the gnome biatches and furry worgen hoes.

Im not sure what to make of all of this just yet, its still soaking in.

I like the idea of a Worgen Rogue, but i dont understand how they would wield weapons...wouldnt they just use their claws? And what they hell are gonna be their mounts, i personally think they may just give them run speed instead of going through the trouble of making a new mount. Tauren paladins kinda scare me, they are one with the druidic nature of the world, not the holy light....but whatever works i guess. If it comes out after im done with Nursing school then maybe ill check it out.

I tried the demo of the last expansion and couldn't get into it.

I'm not sure about this one... I do like the idea of flying mounts in the main continents though.

They're destroying lore for golden milk. Odds of me playing the next xpac, extremely slim to absolute zero.

To destroy such a story for more money, to me, suggests desperation, or greed.
