DDO and TTP players.
I've been playing Dungeon and Dragons Online free for about a month now....Now that I know more about it I see once I get more content it is near impossible to play it with out a orginized "team".
I keep reading how....people don't stay long enough to finnish a quest....or they avoid quests because they are too hard and dont reward well...
I would like to see how many TTP players play this game and see if we cant organize something on a server, once a week or two...where we can get together and do some of these together.
If there is enough interest...we should organize our Classes...and only play these Characters when we are playing together..this way we all stay around the same level.
Post here if something like this interests you. What class you like..and times that are good.
Generally I can play Sunday mornings while waiting for the BF2 server to populate..which gives me about 4-6 hours of play time. I like Fighter Types...but can play any class.

Re: DDO and TTP players.
I played for a while but sort of fell off when I got borderlands and got busy around here. I started a guild but the majority of the players quit playing.
I would be interested in playing on night on a weeknight, but most of my weekends are fairly busy.
Howlin Mad Murphy I know plays, we both hang out on Sarlona.
I bought the Shan to Kor and Catacombs quest packs.

You use to have to pay for this didn't you?
Seeing as it is now 100% free though and I'm uber poor and looking for something to keep me entertained for the upcoming break, I'm in.
Downloading now.
I really enjoy healer classes, but I can usually play tanks too since both are almost always needed. If we're going to be doing something with TTPers only though, I'll play whatever is needed.

It is installing now. I'll try it out and just see if I will like it and whatnot and let everyone know from there. It's free so I shouldn't complain though.
Just working on stuff for class though. Can't even really get Thanksgiving Break off though sadly. :3

Re: DDO and TTP players.
You get 2 Characters per server for free. So yea, roll up a bunch of dudes and play them.
We should pick a server we use to play together and save one character for just when we group...that way we all remain the same level. Leave that character space blank for now.
Other then that you should play with other characters so you get used to what to do and how to do it.
In the DDO forums there is a post on how to unlock all the content for free. Its called "grinding for favor". This post is cool because it shows you how to unlock the content in a order that allows the best use of spending Turbine Points.
As long as you buy nothing except more adventure packs you should be able to unlock most of it, just leveling your other 13 guys to level 12.
Somone pick a server....post when you think your ready to start this. It may take weeks or just a few days. I personally recomend advancing 4-6 characters to level 4 or 5, just so you get a good concept on how to play and where things are. Then the actual dungeons that are more "group based" we can play together. You'll find if you play these dungeons for the first time with regs..they will whip through them...robbing the first time experience from the game.
Pretty much all the content that levels you to 4th or 5th level can be played solo or in a group....after that...I've read group play is really the only way to complete them..with out being 5 levels higher then the actual dungeon is designed for.
