CPUs that don't support the SSE2 instruction set will not be able to run EVE Online after the Incursion 1.1.0 deployment on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. This will cause players still using Intel Pentium 3 or older and AMD Athlon XP or older CPUs to not be able to run the EVE Online client. Athlon 64 CPUs are not affected. This latest release includes updates to the EVE Contracts system, preperations for the much anticipated Sanshas Incursions and the new Character Creator which will allow players to completely revamp their characters. Full patch notes of Incursion 1.1 will be published during this downtime. The deployment process will begin at 06:00 UTC and is expected to be completed by 15:00 UTC. A deployment thread is available here for comments and feedback.

Update: The downtime schedule has changed. The deployment process will now last until 15:00 UTC.

Several missions are experiencing issues with NPCs not spawning correctly. This is causing an issue where this missions cannot be completed. A fix is currently being worked on and should be implemented during downtime on Wednesday January 19, 2011. We apologize for any inconvience this may be cause you.
