I am searching and finding a bunch of garbage... is there a general fact sheet for TOR anywhere?

like what ? relase date 4th quarter of 2011 less they push it back again most other info can be found on the main page of the site videos and all

I am curious about how roles will work (healer, tank, dps). The way they describe it is that anyone CAN do everything, but may not be the most efficient at it? Seems odd. I liked tanking and really working that role.

But, I am looking for anything and everything this is confirmed so far about the game.

Reading the website it seems the Jedi Knight : Guardian would fill the tank role. But its hard to tell, doesn't outright say it.

i reckon it means you can make your class hybrid by branching out into differnt specs or respec your trees and it wont cost an arm and a leg

There is a reason why we don't use the TPG name in MMOs. It is why Disorder never will, nor ONIN or any other guild that tries. Simply put, it is a risk. You can't control what people do in game, in the guild, when you're not on. If people start acting badly and see the TPG name on it, it'll relate badly in game. We can't police the servers and really is no way for TPG to monitor or control what people do 100% of the time. Besides, we're not a clan or guild, we're a community that hosts clans/guilds. Big difference.

It is all on their website. It is easy to see if you seen similar trees like it before. If anyone ever played RFO, you'll see the resemblance.

Basically you pick one of the 4 main classes that has core abilities. At a certain point (lvl 10) you break into 1 of 2 possible sub/focus classes for your main class.

Take for instance the Jedi Knight Class. He can branch into either a Guardian (Tank) or Sentinel (DPS). He can't be both at once, however some abilities will be shared since they are part of the Jedi Knight tree.

That is how I'm seeing it.

And Cojiro is right. Disorder is open for all who are welcome. We don't even have to use the Disorder name, but we can at least use the Disorder Forums so we can at least get all of the TPG players under one roof. That's why we set up Disorder and that's the way it'll always be.

For the record, I vote Republic. I always favored them over the Empire. Plus, I have to admit the Trooper class looks pretty bad ass. Ranged tanking? Hell yeah man! Sounds very interesting. But I'll probably play a Consular. Thinking of going Shadow for that double-bladed saber.
