    Shield Nano Hurricane

Apparently Resist Shield Nano Neut is all the rage these days.

For Low Sec Ratting/Solo PVP. I have done Provi runs in the past (back in the good 'ole days) in ye olde buffer armor cane, so I'm interested in trying this out. If it works out I'll take it down to 9UY4-H. Hurricanes exemplify the historical concept of battlecruisers as "pocket battleships". The emphasis of this fit is intended for deep space engagements where logistics support is otherwise unavailable (solo operations).

Well if you are in a fleet with logistics and tacklers, you can do better with the typical buffer armor fit. More EHP, you don't worry about draining the cap with the armor repair, and you can do without any agility for tackling or running away.

Also I just started playing again so this was new to me. A couple of years ago while flying a Passive Shield Cane (normally used for running Level 3 Blockade missions), I did manage to snipe a careless Arazu off a gate once (yes it was 650mm arty too!), but that was being lucky. And I only learned of using a Shield Cane for PVP from an old friend down in Prov, who taught me how to reverse-ninja a lowsec mission site, but at the time, the buffer armor fit was par for the course.
