yes, and that kinda-sorta proves my point...any enterprising individual/company can relatively easily setup/start said business with nothing more than a small investment and some space to grow (and given hydroponics and whatnot, you don't necessarily need arable land, just enough garage/warehouse space, some tanks and grow lights), and you can start producing product.

however pharmaceuticals (viagra, aspirin, etc) I imagine would take chemists/biologists/etc to develop said drugs, in a high-tech, modern lab no doubt. then to have the connections/sources to get needed resources for synthesizing. and then a fancy production facility to start pushing out pills. not to mention said legal teams to establish/submit/enforce any patents and whatnot. Not quite a cheap and easy venture to pursue.

Well that still doesn´t justify a shitload of LEGAL narcotics that really FUCK people up; being prescribed to kids and adults like fucking tic tacs..and time and time again we see a shitload of crimes and tragedies that are rarely attributed to the use of these medications but it´s usually common to have the people involved ON these narcotics.

not if a barrier to entry is a federal license to produce said product.

See, the production could also be heavily regulated...requiring a shitton of health inspections, process inspections, production permits, commercial permits, distribution permits etc. etc. etc.

We don´t have the space and we don´t have the time...much easier to buy it at your local pot shop across the street.

There will be both. People keep gardens, and they also buy produce in stores. My sister and brother-in-law keep 10 hens. The eggs are amazing. I would never have understood how much better an egg could be. I keep an herb garden. The porch smells nice, and I can have fresh herbs in my food any time I want.

If it's legal, some will buy it commercially and some will grow it themselves.

    Cheers,

So then only ´qualified producers´and ´qualified distributors´can legally commercialize this product...everything else has not been approved by the gov´t or state gov´t, hence it is illegal in the market. Same way I cant set up a $100 lab in my basement and produce a blue pill and call it xavagra because I added some sildenafil to the mix.

Thats what we have become. Over the years we have found out one thing about man kind and that is no matter who you are we have a disease that you fit. Shit ill even say we have made shit up just make people feel better about themselves or their kids. We use to just talk to a kid or in some cases smack his ass for not paying attention. Now they all have ADD. Whatever it takes to not place the blame on the person for being a fuck up.

Crimes have always been around. The main difference now is there is twice as many of us. So we have even more nice shit to watch on the news.

we haven't legalized anything yet, so let's worry about licensing later but even so, unless a federal license has an astronomical cost, it should still be an attainable business venture for enterprising individuals, that in its very basic logistics would not require a team of scientists in a high cost lab, at a high cost production facility, in order to start pushing out product.

Oh definitely...just not enough to cause not even a diminute dent to the industry.
