Why are the Republican Candidates Trying to Out Jesus Each Other?
"You expect the president of the United States to be sensitive to that freedom and protect it and, unfortunately, perhaps because of the people the president hangs around with, and their agenda, their secular agenda, they have fought against religion," Romney said....
Really? I mean....REALLY?!?
What the fuck happened to the separation of church and state? What war against religion are they talking about? You CANNOT make an argument about a war against religion in this country. If anything, there has been a war against secularism. I am not a fan of Obama, but if I have to chose between one of those idiots who are running on a jesus ticket, then I am voting for Obama. Fucking hell...

Odd the faith of Islam doesn't get in on this argument. I mean if you really want to skew the view here take a look at all those Innocent Muslim Student Association across the country that the NYPD spies on.

I completely agree. These idiots are the same people that whine about Sharia and "Islamofascism," yet say our laws should be God-based and that this is a Christian nation. They are exactly them same as those Islamists, and that's why I call them Christofascists. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

The thing that confuses me is why a religious person would WANT government in their religion. It's better for everyone, religious people included, if we keep the two separate.

Hey now, the God/Jesus ticket is pretty strong, they should clean-up in the elections.
In terms of the religion (among other things they are doing) thing, my thought has been that it is primarily an attempt to heavily motivate social conservative voters as well as the Religious vote in an attempt to improve their chances at winning the election. Of course, personally I think, if that is the case, it is an idiotic plan as I think it will cause a big push-back that could entrap some of the party members that may not as nutty (though a lot of those seemed to have been voted out by the Tea Party in 2010). It isn't like there is a lot else they still have to run on (Hell, off topic, but you can you name a single plan on important issues any of these guys have had? And people thought Obama was just talk...).
Of course it could also be a case that the party has just gone so far right its turned into a steaming pile of shit, and needs a serious ass-kicking (AGAIN) to figure out that they need to get back to sensibility soon. Its funny they still idolize Reagan, when today he'd probably be kicked out of the Republican party for being too moderate.

And the people that idolize Reagan also like to bitch about the national debt. What they don't realize is that this massive increase in debt was started by Reagan. It's Reagan's fault we have this debt.
