    I was hoping it was an update on the caged dog.that was shot. For the huge narcotics bust that netted a grinder... Yeah but anyway, I would shoot to kill anyone fucking with my dog. Officers got of light if you ask me.

    I tend to agree with Quick on this one. I am a dog lover. Through and through. But a money damage paid by the tax payers isn't justice and the punishment to the sick pup officer for the error is meh....so in this instance the officer made a mistake (and an avoidable one at that) and owes $2000. The City (read: tax payers) are then on the hook for over $300K....what was their role in this again?

    No different then any other company. If your doing construction and bust the main water line you dont pay to fix it the company you work for does.

    You mean the companies insurance carrier pays... which may be your carrier too, which means you pay when your rates go up.
