"Christine McCallum was sentenced to 29 months in prison and 10 years probation for raping and drugging a 13-year-old student.McCallum, 29, was arrested in January 2009 and convicted of raping the boy up to 300 times over a 21-month period."

LOL i cant get past it. A guy does this to a 13 year old he gets life. A female does it and gets 29 months. LOL justice is blind and appearntly stupid.

A friend of mine is in the middle of a divorce. His soon to be ex came to his house, and violently attacked him. He recorded it with the video camera on his phone. He slightly sprained his knee when she tackled him, but no cuts, scratches, or bruises despite multiple slaps and punches. Went to the judge, and he just threw it out. Gotta live double standards.

I'll bet you won't hear complaints from any feminist groups (Etc) either. Which is the biggest thing that pisses me off about a lot of them. I have no problem with the groups, or their message (as there is still a problem with gender inequality in some cases, and with racism, etc. etc.), but often they don't come out and condemn cases which a woman, or black, or hispanic, get the advantage due to their race/gender.

Like in this case, or the one Civil mentioned, a group wanting equality for woman should be against this decision. Its pretty obvious that being a woman is what helped her get a lighter sentence. Do you think they'll complain about this bias though? Nope, because it worked out for THEIR side, and that is what pisses me off.

Gee, I wish a 29 year old hottie had drugged (gave me a beer) and raped (had ball draining sex) me when I was thirteen. That's a scar I could have lived with.

I think your missing the point trigger. This type of shit has happened on both sides and men literally go to jail for life for 1 count. She has 300 counts and got 29 months. The scales arent even remotely even.

SO you dont consider having sex with a 13 year old as horrible as that? OK what age should we set? How about 10? Well ten isnt that bad why not 8? But if 8's ok why not 6?

You tell me where does it start to become horrible? I think your in the same mindset as the judge. Just because its a female means it isnt as bad.

When the child is pre-pubescent and it isn't consensual.

And obviuosly the judge found the act to be bad as the man was sentenced. The question here is, is the sentence too hard or not.
