Well for the ideas I currently don't like to die in a fire they must be 'out of the bushes' as you put it. This has a drawback though. I'll use the Dover vs Kitzmiller as an example. These trolls got elected. That is a short term concern for the most part, the long term benefits are apparent, when was the last time these folks tried putting creation science into a text book? It has not happened since. They were more then defeated, they even had a judge known to be a conservative who told them off from the bench! They were humiliated, they were laughed at, locals who at first thought more bible in school was a good idea recanted because they were embarrassed that they helped this come along. Letting your enemy on the board is the only way to achieve a checkmate. Since we live in a pluralistic society with freedom of speech and thought we have no control over the breeding of bad ideas and shouldn't since in controlling that we do nothing but make a rod for our own backs, we can only do our best to deliver a mortal wound when they pick a fight. Voting is more like a girl saying, no we are not having sex on the second date, that is not to say she will say no on the third. I want a flat out refusal, I want a death scene of bad ideas, I want these things to join slavery and prohibition and clerical rule in a mass grave, no third date. Culture wins these fights, voting does nothing as the battle is already over.

One can hope for such a day. I hope they don't all agree with me because that would get boring fast. Thinking of a culture of people who research their own ideas and try to argue against ideas they hold dear in the moment and leave them on the curb if they have no merit...what a place worth defending.

One more thing to, find out all the people here that are left wing nutz and stay away from them. They think the gov. should take your money and give it someone else that's worthless and lazy
