The former Senator’s campaign was hallmarked by his sometimes radically conservative views — he even promised to ban all same sex marriages and pornography if elected president — which helped earn his candidacy some traction among the more hard-line Christian Republicans, many of whom view Romney as too liberal for their vote, and distrust him due to his Mormon faith.

Too bad. I think he is a great family guy. I also think he was on to something with getting back manufacturing jobs. Regardless of a canidate you will always find flaws. He might have been a great Prez...we will never know. Hope his little girl has a long happy life.

Yeah, I feel pretty bad about his little girl regardless of what I think of him; his little girl is separate from that. I am very happy that for once it seems the political smear ad machine is not taking advantage. It is slightly depressing to say that this situation is not more common. Last election cycle got pretty nasty. Each one that I can remember got nasty.
