Here's your chance Fov.
"The Obama White House is drawing ridicule for appending the official online biographies of nearly every president over the last century in order to link President Obama's accomplishments to the former commanders in chief."President Dwight Eisenhower established the President's Council on Youth Fitness on July 16, 1956 (now known as The President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports) after learning from a study that American youth were less fit than European youth. Today the Council is still going strong—with Olympians and professional athletes on board—working in conjunction with the First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move initiativeto help promote healthier lifestyles.

Seems pretty arrogant to me. Heres a few examples.
- President Reagan designated Martin Luther King Jr. Day a national holiday; today the Obama Administration honors this tradition, with the First and Second Families participating in service projects on this day.
- In a June 28, 1985 speech Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multi-millionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule.
President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare signed into law in 1965—providing millions of elderly healthcare stability. President Obama’s historic health care reform law, the Affordable Care Act, strengthens Medicare, offers eligible seniors a range of preventive services with no cost-sharing, and provides discounts on drugs when in the coverage gap known as the “donut hole.”
He's a pretty sad fucking president to feel the need to tie his name to every other president.

Re: Here's your chance Fov.
Really? This is the issue you pick? Instead of bringing up ACTUAL policies or positions, you stoop to bringing up some irrelevant bullshit about some White House staffers adding little tidbits to other Presidents' bios? Not to mention, your source is a Faux News opinion piece. Don't be so damn petty, this isn't even worth the time.
But if it will make you happy:
President Obama is wrong for wasting time going around personally adding little one-liners about himself on some other President's biographies. Next thing you know, he's going to start Rickrolling people by changing links on the White House website, and then, BAM, communism.
Happy?

Re: Here's your chance Fov.
It just happened to pop up right after the other discussion so it seemed appropriate. Sure its a bit light in meaning but to be sure if this was Bush your ass would have been all over it. Plus we both know those staffers didnt take it apon themselves to add that bs without insight from him.
I also remember a certain group of people outraged when the patriot act went into effect under Bush. Yet when it was extended twice by good ole Bama it wasn't quite as big of a deal.

No, I wouldn't, because this wouldn't even register on my Outrage-o-meter. This is another Faux News overreaction piece and quite frankly, I don't care.
And, of course, that's something I oppose. I did not like that he reauthorized it all.

I like how people dis Fox news like MSNBC CNN ABC NBC or anything else is better. Fox is so bad it's ranked number 1 from 5-10pm
Least they do bring people in from the left more than 4 or 5 times a year. On the other channels all you hear is bashing and not debate.Son calls Dad a fag.
Dad says dude I bust a nut in yo mother 4 times a week

rofl, debate. Debate on Fox is usually 3 hardliners, or 2 hardliners and Juan Williams, OR 2 hardliners and some dem they barely let speak, or is as kooky as they can find. Saying they invite Dems, is like me saying MSNBC has republicans on, and thus not that bias. They go out to find kooks as much as Fox does (though, can it also be noted they have Joe Scarborough as a host n a morning show, and used to have Michael Steele on quite a bit as a guest).

Re: Here's your chance Fov.
Lol, yeah, because ratings = truth. It doesn't matter what their rating are, it doesn't make them anything less than the propaganda arm of the Republican party. They get people so brainwashed and paranoid that they actually believe that Faux News is the only "fair and balanced" news source and they are consistently among the most ill-informed people out there. The major American TV news channels are all pretty bad, which is why I prefer alternative sources, but none of the other ones are as bad as Faux, the big right-wing circlejerk.
It's because they aren't a credible source, and especially not a Faux News opinion piece. If you link to Faux News and it is an AP or Reuters article, fine, but do you really want me to give any credence to a site, who after Obama came out in support of gay marriage, made their headline "Obama's War on Marriage"?

Re: Here's your chance Fov.
I am glad to see some things dont change. I rank fox right there with the rest of the news programs. None are in it to give just the story. If they were they wouldn't have made a practice of giving teasers before their show/article. A true person of thought looks past the teasers, opinions, and sources to what just the facts are. In this case its fact they altered the bios of most of the presidents to name drop obama. Its a sad move on their part.
Another interesting fact is as predicted you made it seem like its nothing when if it was a repub that did it you would consider this a much bigger deal. Im pretty sure anyone here thats had conversations with you can testify to that seeing as you drop left and right shit in 75% of the threads. Thanks for playing but we both know this will go no where so i'll wait for your next post about some random event where you name drop the dems and all their glory.
