An "alleged" news outlet was not the proper place for a slantedly nuanced piece. That's the point. Wrong place for it. Wrong tone for it on a "news" outlet.

But who cares? Red meat for people who don't care what they eat or from where.

Fact is that FOX, more than a few others, requires a lot of backfill and or grains of salt in their "reporting". THAT is a fact.

Fact is only a naive person writes something off completely just because of where it came from. It takes intelligence to watch pieces from everywhere and sift through them. So its less about your consumption of red meat and more about your ability to cut your own steak.

Additionally, I'm not writing off the details, en masse, simply because of the source. Far from it. I've made some of those same points in a number of threads all over this forum previously.

But is it appropriate for a "news" organization, one that should at least pretend to be objective, to air this type of video with "ominous" and "doomy" music? In my strong opinion, No. They should not have. That is all.

If MSNBC runs a "soundbite-athon" of Romney (or whoever) clips with the "we're all gona die" musical score I'll respond in kind. It's ridiculous. As is defending them.

Agreed to your first part but the numbers are fact and i've already expressed my thoughts on them for the video.

I think that the most important fact here is that we can finally stop this silly game where we pretend that Fox News is anything but a mouthpiece for the Republican party and big business in general.

nah - I like the Daily Show. It's thoughtful and comedic and doesn't promote itself as "News".

it´s still influential and terribly biased and some people DO watch the daily show to get their daily dose of current events.
