I´m sure that as creative and intelligent as we are, we could manage to do it without taking these "shortcuts". We´re playing god by tampering with nature and it is already biting us in the ass...and then we go back to what came first the chicken or the egg....we mass produce because our population demands it..yet we keep growing in population because the mass production allows us to do so.

I´m as confident we can implement policies, procedures and new methods for natural production just as much as you are confident that we can´t.

Should we hold Patron responsible for your irresponsible consumption?
I´m not ignoring the responsibility we have as consumers....we as consumers have fueled and kept these corporations in business...and we as consumers are responsible for the ways these businesses operate and produce.

And that has been my point all along. Stop buying Big Macs and McD's changes, or goes out of business. Same with any other company/industry.

Or force these industries to use nutritional, harmless raw materials in the processing of their products and they can stay in business. Then, consumers are happy and the businesses are happy. Win Win situation.

    Good lord.

So Xav have you picked an argument yet? Because thus far you've really not made a cogent, precise argument for or against anthing other than someone should do something and be responsible for themselves and others and things they produce or consume or use or discard or give away or sell.....or or or

I admire your passion on the matter. But you're short on realistic solutions or plausible suggestions.

    ......

The population has been growing for generations. Long before your evil or deadly companies with their god complex tampering with natural food production.

What's your explanation for that and how does it fit in with the the rest of your narrative?
