    Clash of Civilizations

Came across this online...very interesting theory by harvard professor and political scientist Samuel P. Huntington which proposed "that people's cultural and religious identities will be the primary source of conflict in the post-Cold War world". A theory that was later written as a Foreing Affairs article in 1993.

    Check it:

How is his theory any different from what has always been a primary source of conflict? It appears to me his idea has been in play for thousands of years already.

Yeah actually i did. I still believe he has misplaced how society has behaved since we learned how to throw rocks at each other.

Well...that and a million other arguments have been brought up since he wrote the article and consequently the book. Basing a theory on concepts as ambiguous as ´civilization´ and ´culture´ will spark a shitload of debate.

I dont disagree with that. I only disagree with him thinking he found something that will be different then what we had before. The enemy changes but the modes have always been the same.

    Re: Clash of Civilizations

I should post rebuttal essays to this article.
