Not entirely true. Because the prison knows what he did, he will never be in General Population. He'll either have his food brought to him everyday in solitary or be with a bunch of other freaks and perverts.

I agree, If I had to choose between spending my entire life behind bars or ending my life in a fraction of a second where I wouldn't suffer, I probably would choose option #2. I also understand what your saying about vigilante justice and how we as a society must not take justice into our own hands. However, molesting a child is probably the most horrendous act that you can commit. Hell even murderers and rapists in prison are disgusted and appalled by such an act. Given the circumstances I don't blame the man for doing what he did. If that had happened to my son, given the chance I would have done the same and would feel no remorse. I think the the DA and the judge did a good job of giving him 5 years probation. The kid is already traumatized and has been handed a life full of psychological problems, no need to take away his father on top of it.

Yeah, cause justice ain't supposed to be blind, right? If I hadn't already forgiven the person who molested me, I'd want that person in jail, not free from all punishment. But, hey, that's just me speaking as someone who was molested.

I hope you at least let the law know that this person is freaky. Sorry to learn you had bad-freak action happen to you.

We are all different. My thoughts are as follows: if the man who killed that molester can live with his action, I am fine with no punishment; If the guy feels guilty, then his punishment is the ghost of that freak he killed.

Like I said, I hope you turned the freak in that molested you. Molesters have a strong pattern of repeat.

The memories were repressed for a good while. Statute of limitations has passed, and as I said, I have forgiven that person.

I'm all for a free pass for the dad. Now if he injured anyone else in the act he should face those charges. I think the punishment in Law Abiding Citizen would have been better.
