I found this to be HILARIOUS! but then again I am one of those people that considers racism to be humorous because of how stupid it is.

The ad can only be read if the viewer "screws up" their eyes.

Yea but still I think people are taking it a little to far, getting all offended and such. There is no reason to get offended, its important to note that they didn't have any bad intentions when making the ads and gave an apology. Different cultures have different values and they probably didn't think they were doing anything wrong, initially. Can't crucify someone for making a mistake and then apologizing for it.

Yea but it´s an advertising firm...they should do their job of investigating cultures before printing anything out...Coca Cola has gotten in trouble with advertising...I think Ford has gotten in trouble with a name of a car somewhere in Asia..and shit like that...it´s just careless advertising...not incendiary, I would think...although if I´m asian I think I´d take offense to that...but...simply that..just be offended...but my point is...these agencies should be more careful and properly investigate what is and isn´t considered offensive...kinda like the mohammed cartoons...

Yea that's true, that's unacceptable if your job is advertising. The marketing director will have some explaining to do, it's only common sense that before releasing a global advertisement, you do some research to make sure your advertisement isn't going to offend a large demographic of people.
