Re: Syrian weapons of mass destruction
I donīt see it as an insult...he is pointing out that you guys are mal-educated, misinformed and misguided and that is a prevailing problem in the U.S. which keeps getting worse.
"A Fatal false premise with broad general consensus will always trump reason, evidence and critical thinking."
This is what keeps coming up with you time and time again, dgod.Last edited by Xavsnipe; 07-16-12 at 02:26 PM.

Re: Syrian weapons of mass destruction
My disagreement makes your statement not so "fully valid"
I do not think that sacrificing the lives of a few thousand is worth it. It's easy to say a few thousand when you're sitting up on the hill but when you take that few thousand and stand the caskets side by side and force those to look upon them it paints a very different picture.

Re: Syrian weapons of mass destruction
I'm pretty sure I understand both sides of that statement. And I was posting in here before it was here (OTS days) but that's really irrelevant.
Your statement still assumes, or implies, that some of the people you tend to argue with most vehemently (who you do NOT know anything at all about other than what you read here) would stand idly by while a tangible threat to the nation was imminent.
There are plenty of people, other than you and commander, entirely capable of "pushing back" and you know it. You should also know that "push back" quality to refer to is not a wholly owned commodity of you and people like you. It takes all types and many people might surprise you when push comes to shove. Appearances (especially digital ones) aren't to be trusted when it comes to what reality might hold. Case in point, I never took Xav to be a donkey fucker - he looks clean cut and professional (some of the time). But who knew - appearances, very deceptive.
It's probably a wise thing to not operate on those assumptions.triggerhappy2005 liked this post

Re: Syrian weapons of mass destruction
lol of course it doesnīt fit my argument...it doesnīt fit anyoneīs argument...you say things that should be left OUT altogether while youīre arguing or debating. Really preposterous things...things that ignore the obvious..things that are not logical...that are not within reason. I donīt know how else to put it lol
