    President Obama: Warrior in Chief

I thought this was a good article, surprisingly from the NY Times:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/29/op...-in-chief.html

Basically, Obama is dropping 3 times the amount of bombs on Pakistan via drones than Bush ever did. He has 3 clandestine operations in Africa, and a full war in the Middle East. So there's where the change went... he melted it into bullets and bombshells. It's a stark contrast to what was "historical fact" 4 years ago from the left. Bush was the evil, war mongering President. Clearly, it doesn't matter what side you choose; we like to spend money on war(s).

First let me say Obama DID NOT do shit. He accomplished NOTHING. The troops that are over there did all the work so the article starts off on the wrong foot to begin with. He did not start any of those campaigns. The only thing he had to deal with was Libya. If he was such as man as discussed in this article we would be in syria right now. The advent of drones made this possible. They are not new technology but the capabilities to carry weapons is fairly new if you exclude uav's that were strictly weapons with wings. There was no return flight for them. In short the predator was the first one available for use for this type of stuff and it didnt release until 95 and remained basically an untested platform until these wars started.

So personally i think they're giving him a lot of credit he has not earned.

So only the guy pulling the trigger actually "does anything?" The decision makers and support folks don't do anything?

99% of those people are already in the desert. Obama is so far detached from the situation its insulting to everyone actually doing the work.

Are you saying that only the people in the desert deserve recognition for the accomplishments of the military?
