But eliminate personal liberty? Really? I support more personal liberty than your boy-toy Ron Paul. Can't save them all. I definitely have a problem with how they bailed out the banks, but I fully supported the bailout of the auto industry. I think letting that fail would have been disastrous to any recovery efforts.

That's fine, I view it as an overreaction to perceived threats, though, and an invasion of privacy. Now, I'm not saying abolish it entirely necessarily, I just think it needs to be toned down a lot, at the very least.

Like another company wouldn't form to take its place and thats a big if on whether or not would have actually gone under. They would have probably had a massive bankruptcy and got knocked down a few pegs. Instead we have same ole same ole from them. The bailout was ineffective.
