Haven't felt the rain here in Baton Rouge just yet, but it is getting windy.
Not nearly as "bad" as Katrina, but Katrina only seemed worse because of the levee that burst. If that hadn't happened, it wouldn't have been nearly as bad.
New Orleans can handle wind...but it's basically just a giant bowl sitting at 11-12 feet below sea level. The rain is what will fuck the city up.

Then you better hope she dropped the bulk of it here. She probably dropped more rain here then i have seen in a long time for a single hurricane. Normally once they pass were clear and dry skies but its still raining. I'll give her that. She did refill our retention ponds.
