You're speculating. Had you just done some research instead of blindly speculating based on your "expertise," you'd have found this:
“You will note that there were a number of incidents that targeted diplomatic missions and underscored the GoL’s (government of Libya) inability to secure and protect diplomatic missions,” the email stated.

"For the past two years, House Republicans have continued to deprioritize the security forces protecting State Department personnel around the world. In fiscal year 2011, lawmakers shaved $128 million off of the administration's request for embassy security funding. House Republicans drained off even more funds in fiscal year 2012 -- cutting back on the department's request by $331 million."
Jason Chaffetz Admits House GOP Cut Funding For Embassy Security: 'You Have To Prioritize Things'
The Obama administration requested funds for security, the GOP said no, therefore it's Obama's fault the embassies and consulates didn't have enough security. Makes sense.
Why doesn't the GOP care enough about security for Americans to provide adequate funding?

Re: US embassy attacked.
Why did Obama and every other politician not just hand the job to the Marines or Army? They're already making a check and unaffected by the cuts made. It does make me wonder who voted to take the job away from the military is some places to put private security in instead. Piss poor move by all of them.

Re: US embassy attacked.
Can we just agree that this wasn't solely Obama's fault, then, like some people on here are making it out to be? If you weren't provided the resources needed for security, it's hard to provide adequate security.
And I'll completely agree with you that the military should be the one's handling things like official government security. This move towards private contractors that started under Bush and continued under Obama is deeply troubling to me.
