And it begins.
Hobby Lobby's Birth Control Case Should Be Denied By Judge, Feds Urge
"The arts and crafts supply chain filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Oklahoma City last month, alleging the mandate is unconstitutional and will force the company's owners "to violate their deeply held religious beliefs under threat of heavy fines, penalties and lawsuits."

Re: And it begins.
Im kinda tossed up on this one as well. A company is not a person so technically it does have rights per say. However a company is also an extension of the owner and they should be able to run the business as they see fit.
Personally i think this is just the one of the first to start what will be a trend over the next year. The health care bill is forcing companies to put money out on thing they do not want with no benefit to their business. If the owners faith says no and they follow their faith it is reasonable to assume their company can be run in that manner.
If this was like other systems the government would be footing the bill thru taxes but it isnt. So i still say do it right or get rid of it. Wait and see health care costs are going to sky rocket just like every other mandatory insurance. I know mine have been climbing at a higher rate every year since this pos went thru.

Fuck Hobby Lobby and their bullshit attempts to tell their employees what health services they are entitled to. I don't give two shits what their religious beliefs are, if they don't like things like the morning-after pill, don't take them! I swear, religious nutjobs like these people won't be happy until they turn the United States into the Christian Saudi Arabia. Religion makes people stupid.
So are you saying you'd support a single-payer system like Medicare-for-all? I'm not a fan of employer-provided insurance at all and would be more than willing to dump it for a single-payer system.

Like I have said before, socialized medicine is either something you do all the way or not at all. Having lived in a country with socialized medical care for five years now, I fully endorse European style systems. The quality of care is great here. And fuck Hobby Lobby and any other businesses who try and not pay for insurance that has birth control pills as a benefit. The pill is used for other things too. Plus a prescription for pills is cheaper than one delivery and there is no maternity leave needed for someone who is not getting pregnant.
Brought to you by the same assholes also say no abortion and no birth control.
I guess they prefer their women barefoot and pregnant.

Re: And it begins.
Im saying do it right or throw it the fuck out. If we are going to put the government in the middle of our healthcare then they should be footing the bill at the end of our trip. All this pos is going to do is jack heath costs thru the roof. As if we didnt already have a big enough problem with that.
For all the fuck hobby lobby people. Fuck your opinion and what you want. A business should be able to run how it wants to run. If you dont like the way that company runs go somewhere else. Pretty simple.
My opinion of this bill is if i showed up to work and did a half ass job i would expect to be called out on it and fix it on my own dime. This should be no different. If you think its ok that they did a half ass job while shrugging your shoulders saying "well its better then nothing" then your part of the problem. Hold these fuckers responsible for doing a half ass job.Last edited by deathgodusmc; 10-26-12 at 02:20 PM.

Re: And it begins.
No its our country. Your in France. Then you have the whole we have been given the privilege of owning a company. No one gave that to us. We spent our money to get the license, insurances, buildings, payroll, bills, and so on. The people can shove their restrictions up their ass. The have a vote when they own a higher percentage of my company then i do. Until then they can sit in the corner and keep their mouth shut. Now when the people or the government is covering my expenses we can talk about their vote in my company.
