The difference is that Laz hates disagrees with Obama. If you haven't gotten that our electoral process is a sham that is undertaken every four years to make you think you're more important than you actually are, these things will get your blood up. If you buy one political ideology lock stock and barel, I feel sorry for you, liberal or conservative.

Yeah, I think this is easily an equal opportunity accusation. I don't have the ability right now, but I don't think it would take me too long at all to find a right wing ad just as despicable.

And the thing about SuperPACs is that now the candidate can claim he "didn't approve this message."

Not saying she was coerced into anything political but this is another of those things that goes both ways.

Yeah, I felt bad about that first one.

At the Weekly Meeting Of All Liberals where that one was approved, I really thought we'd go with a different theme. Exploiting children effectively is hard to do from way up here on the moral high ground. It was one of the few Weekly Meetings Of All Liberals where I sorta felt bad that we'd decided to stop running The Liberals by vote and had ceded decision making power to the President Of All Liberals For Life.

But when the President Of All Liberals For Life gets up to speak, well, s/he is really compelling. When s/he told us that this was the new ad, it seemed like the right thing to do. It was only after, outside the meeting, that I began to question it. I don't really like it when the fog starts to clear from my head. The fog is very pleasant. But then, it also feels good when it's gone. I'm very confused.

I'm not even sure any more why I still go to the meetings. I might just go to the Monthly Meeting Of All Liberals from now on - that's the one where we sacrifice a goat to the ghost of John Locke. That's always when the good party is. There's something about a live animal sacrifice that really gets All The Liberal Women "in the mood" - if you know what I mean.

Oh, sure, they'll still have sex with anyone who asks even at the Weekly Meeting Of All Liberals - I mean, they're liberal women, so duh - but after a live animal sacrifice they just seem to be a little crazier. So it's more fun.

This topic is also very classy, just what I'd expect.

How about instead of shunning the other side and only doing that, you show people why they should vote for your side? Take the classy route instead of the mud-slinging route! Also not the route that tries to hide that not all these ad's are from the 'other side' but SuperPACs and other groups. I mean, I'm sure we could find an ad by Westboro Baptist Church somewhere and call it conservative, which would be equivalent to what you just did Laz, but that would be WRONG.
