David Petraeus Resigns as CIA Director

Trying to find a link for it, as I just saw it on MSNBC (apparently its quite new being no-one, including the station, has posted an article on it). From what I've pieced from the discussions on right now is he cited an extra-marital affair as either the major or one of the reasons he decided to resign.

Like I said, going to keep search for a link and post it as soon as someone posts a story.

"Yesterday afternoon, I went to the White House and asked the President to be allowed, for personal reasons, to resign from my position," Petraeus said in his resignation letter. "After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours."

Whos to say it didn't belong there? Maybe it was a perfect fit and had his name on it.

I wonder when this indiscretion occurred, recently or some time back. The reason I wonder is could the Libyan debacle play in this somewhere. I mean first Hillary now Petraeus and yes my tin foil hat is securely in place.

It does seem like a lot of people around a certain individual keep making mistakes doesn't it?
