Yeah, I don't get it either.

I'd be as happy as anyone for the legacy of racism to fade into the past, but in the mean time it bothers me that some people insist on a symmetry that makes no sense.

"White Pride" and "Black Pride" are not symmetric. They're not the same thing, nor are they direct opposites.

Like I said, I can't wait for black pride to be an anachronism. The day when it seems silly to everyone can't come fast enough as far as I'm concerned because on that day we will all have won.

But I'm pretty sure that having light-skinned citizens telling dark-skinned citizens that it's racist to express pride that a minority can win the presidency is only going to push that day further into the future.

Well I see it and I´m neither white nor black. I think being on the outside looking in gives one a better perspective of it all.

Thats because you brown guys only get to look in the windows.

I´m tired of racism altogether, I don´t equate ´white racism´ to ´black racism´per se, but racism is racism in the end. It is never justified. And black people being racist towards whites will push that day you so long for further enough that we won´t live to see it.
