Two year pay freeze, probably rightfully so but anyone who hadn't seen a pay raise in two years would probably be looking for new work.

Hell, even we get two annual bonuses and our bank hasn't been profitable in years.

Still though, timing is ugly.

I agree that 1/2-1% probably doesn't even cover the increase in the cost of living over the last 2-3 years, BUT when you are the least productive group in the 200+ year history of your job you probably deserve to be fired, not given a raise. The only problem is by firing them you just hire someone exactly like them, so we are screwed either way.

Don't really care. If they aren't competent enough to make a budget in 3 consecutive years then they don't deserve a pay raise. Cost of living increase or not.

According to the order, Biden's pay will increase from $225,521 to $231,900 a year, before taxes. House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) will see his salary increased to $224,500 and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) will take home an annual pay of $194,400 after his raise.

how many people could live on a quarter of these assholes income or less they are the reason we are all fucked in the first place they should actually take a paycut
