The glorification by the media is no doubt a problem, but unless you want to start curbing free speech, not much can be done about that. It's one of the reasons I really hate American media.
Red Bull? Really? I see that went way over your head. And I never said you HAD to subdue someone, I said that was one of the times uses a knife was more likely. And people have been dying by guns for a long time, too.
Yes, because that is what I said. You just love to put words in people's mouths, though. You are the one saying this could just as easily happen with a knife with zero problem. Yet, we already have a number of mass shootings with 20+ deaths and none with knives. So you are comparing a reoccurring event to one that has never happened here. So when it does happen, let me know.
Now you are trying to excuse bad logic by saying all logic is slippery slope, therefore it's ok to use it? Is it safe to say, then, that using bad logic is classic Ranger? It's looking that way since you love to use that analogy based on such logic, or lack thereof. Is it too hard to use sound logic?

So we'll curb the second amendment instead?
Lets just go ahead and say you didn't really have a point with this portion of your argument shall we?
Are you trying to be dense? How man deaths a year happen from knives? There are more people who die in prison from sharpened toothbrushes each year than in these mass murder/suicides you keep harping on. And on the same day there was a mass murder with nearly as many deaths as in Newtown, but in another country. But I supposed you think it helps your argument to qualify your comment by saying, "It hasn't happened here yet, has it." That MUST mean it can't happen here.
Weak.
Uh oh... more slippery slope logic. I use sound logic all the time. You don't like it, so your natural response is to call it "bad". That's up to you. If you think it helps your argument or strengthens your position, which you can't do any other way, then by all means, call it so. That won't change anything.
