What kANG is trying to say is why wasn´t Bin Laden officially charged by the U.S. Gov´t when the attacks happened? Sure, he was public enemy #1 for many other crimes against the U.S., but he was never really formally charged with the 9/11 attacks.

Osama wasn't charged with the crime, but he WAS killed for it. He'd have gotten the needle here in the States, so it's all the same to me.

Wasnt charged because there is no evidence according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation....funny how he is charged for the 1998 bombings but not 911....whats the difference? One terrorist attack in 1998 one terrorist attack in 2001 both by the same man....yet hes only charged for one of those...

I haven't looked into the 1998 attack, but I'm guessing it had to do with Osama not actively participating in the WTC attack. At best we could prove people from his organization committed the crime. It's more likely that it was simply considered an act of war, and thus a war crime, which gave our military first crack at Osama.

It was not considered a Crime by the Bush Admini, but an act of War. Re: Bring me Osama's Head in a Box.

Embassy bombings (and original WTC bombing) were classified by the Clinton Admin as crimes.

That's an easy dismissal, but the truth is Cracked cites their sources better than pretty much every WSJ, NYT, or WP columnist does.

Plus it's an editorial point and thus can be considered on the merits of the point being made.

So let's look at facts. Depending on which "reputable" news source you subscribe to Adam Lanza either killed 20 kids with an AR, or it was in his trunk. Same place, same facts, yet two bipolar opposite stories. In other words, yes, believe everything you see on youtube.
