Min 5:30-:35 outside the narrowest limits of national security. IMO the limits have widened greatly.

Edit: @ frost perhaps I misperceived you as an attorney, I rest my case.

And how narrow do you believe the proper limits to be? Because this could easily be perceived as a case of national security, considering the secrecy is most likely to protect a confidential source that provides information on a terrorist organization.

Only enough to insure said objective is achieved afterwhich full disclosure should be made if requested and we may never know will we.

Just because it's not being released now doesn't mean it won't be released later, perhaps when the source is pulled out for whatever reason.

It seems to me, this thread has gone from the general "outrage/conspiracy theory" to a useful subject concerning the use of military force and the understanding of military cohesion and discipline.
I don't have anything to add but to suggest a new thread be started on that topic.
Continuing to discuss serious issues in this thread only serves to diminish the thread title, the intent of the OP and the posters within it.
