There is a shocker, but which I mean not that shocking. But still its major news (not really), I find it kind of sad there are people who eat subway that much it matters to them. Personally I think Subway has horrid quality in their meats, and really only go there when things are cheap (like sales etc.). Though the meatball isn't bad, and the chicken can be good.
I liked this quote:
They’re cheating us!” said 32-year-old Juan Rivera, who runs a hardware shop in Brooklyn Heights.
He eats Subway every other day with his father — but now he feels betrayed.
Some subway footlong sandwiches are only 11 inches - NYPOST.com
Seriously though, A) Does it really matter, and more importantly B) Does anyone think subway is actually good?
(p.s. I should point out that while I make no mistake I really don't like subway I will admit they can be decent but it is primarily veggies and their meats are awful. Even then, it isn't as though their veggies are that great either, but certainly not far far off most sub chains).Last edited by Red_Lizard2; 01-31-13 at 08:26 PM.

A 'foot' long could be argued to be the size of a foot. The 6 inch is more specific. But really, its subway, one less inch of sub could be a good thing. Jersey Mike, pot bellies, McAllisters deli, are all much better choices. Jimmy johns is not bad, or schlotzkys is even ok.

Italian BMT, double meat, American cheese, toasted, lettuce, green peppers, jalepenos, onions, salt n pepper, and oil & vinegar....
All on the Italian Herb and Cheese.
Mmmmmm.
But, I'd rather have Firehouse Subs than subway.

My favorites are Cheba Hut (mostly West/South West and one in Iowa, one in Madison, WI now), Silver Mine Subs (Most Southwest and midwest(ish)), and Jimmy Johns (mostly for my cheap quick sub place).
Want to try Firehouse subs at some point, they've done adverts here recently but no idea how they are.SmokenScion liked this post
