How many guns do you need?

Yet... And I am not a full time musician. I do it part time, mostly as a hobby. It doesn't pay my bills and I do it mainly for fun, while making a little cash on the side.

My current instruments cost me (out of pocket) in a range between $1200-$2400 each. My amplifiers range from 5w to 45w tube, including 2 vintage Fender Black Face amps that cost me about $2k each. Overall, I have close to $20k invested into my music, including drums, full PA, and bass rig. It has taken me years to accumulate so much stuff. If it was guns, it would easily be over the 10 mark by now if they were my passion.

I would consider myself a collector/investor. I like guns and I use them all the time. I like having the perfect gun to use for a specific purpose.

And none of those items/services have the sole objective to destroy, do they?
And again, in all 9 or so pages of this thread, only 2 people have stated they have more than 10 weapons.

So what is the argument? That a few fall outside the norm? Hell, that's to be expected. But what is considered abnormal to the point of concern? That is my question. I have only seen defensive statements, not one answer.

Thats a better question. For me, one. One reliable, functional weapon, short and tactical with lots of stopping power, option for large capacity magazine or short reload time.

There are a few weapons that meet those requirements, any one of them will do.

You can point out only 2 have said the have more then 10 weapons all you want. It proves nothing. What do we constitute as a weapon? I have 1 gun, 2 kbars, 1 multitool knife, and at least a dozen different flooring razor knives.

What you mean is your not seeing the answer you want to see because plenty have actually been given.

IMO... There is no concern unless said person starts to become a threat to himself or others. Then there's a concern.

I'd be more concerned about an individual with mental problems with only ONE firearm than I would with a normal person who has 1000000000 guns.

We can all agree that guns are designed to kill and injure one or more animals or humans as efficiently as possible. Don't think i have ever seen a disagreement with this. BUT just as you use a screwdriver as a chisel, i have other uses for my guns.

Oh, and count me on as one of those with 10 or more firearms. No assault weapons, but i assure you, all of them are equally as deadly.
