First, I am all about exercising the rights that are given to me under the Constitution. However, when you go out and purposefully try to instigate and scare the shit out of people just to prove a point.....then you're just being an asshole. Then, you come across this guy, who makes you look like a complete jackass......all by just being a professional.

I didn't see any douchebagery anywhere in the video by any of the parties involved. All were civil and Albany should be proud to have an officer of that caliber, completely professional and yes his ar was much kooler.

Why shouldn't police be allowed to stop these asshats and ask for proof of an open carry license?

Considering the potential for something bad to happen, it only makes sense.

I still disagree. You go out like that this day in age the attention your going to get is mostly going to be negative. If people dont start using their rights and showing other what they are actually allowed to do then things will only get worse and those right be eventually taken away. Or do i need to show how thats already been happening?

How else would you know if if your rights are protected, by someones word or actually putting those rights to the test.

Edit : Rights need to be exercised on a regular basis or they get fat and lazy out of shape and unable to protect you.

No, they are attention seeking douchebags. It's as bad as putting the mosque at ground zero. It's getting negative attention because people are assholes, people are crazy, and people are dumb. If you have it, conceal, this isn't warlord controlled Africa where people buy groceries with an AK-47.
