Obama the Antichrist and Hello, New World Order!
Apparently 1 in 4 people surveyed thinks that President Obama may be the antichrist... LOL
Looks like those who don't believe in a global push by leaders to create a new world order are now the ones in the minority:

The survey also revealed that 28% of people believed in a sinister global New World Order conspiracy, aimed at ruling the whole world through authoritarian government. Another 25% were "not sure" and only a minority of American voters – 46% – thought such a conspiracy theory was not true.

Cant argue with that. But a New World order is by no means the stretch it once was. In every "system" society has produced, power always gravitates to the few. Just look at global wealth distribution now, 40% of the global wealth is controlled by 1% of the population! How hard would it be for that 1% to get on the same page? A lot easier than the other 99% for sure!

So Laz, both you and the writer of the article must not know what the definition of "minority".
The survey also revealed that 28% of people believed in a sinister global New World Order conspiracy, aimed at ruling the whole world through authoritarian government. Another 25% were "not sure" and only a minority of American voters – 46% – thought such a conspiracy theory was not true.
I majority does NOT have to be over 50%, especially when your survey has 3 questions. The majority would be the group with the highest percentage.
Speaking of percentages, while I don't have conclusive evidence, I am fairly certain that 1 in 4 people surveyed are mindless zealots. I mean, seriously... Obama may be the Antichrist? This means that Jesus will be coming down to save everyone from him soon? I guess we will wait and see.
I figured the Antichrist would do worse than give people health care, try to get the country out of debt (even if he fails), and proposes some automatic weapon bans. I mean, I thought the Antichrist would be doing some sort of mass genocide, destruction of the earth and living things... bringing out the "end of days".
I think the article should be names "One in four Americans are racist and hate Obama because he is black, survey says". But that is just my opinion.

Why is it when a black man is involved if someone expresses dislike with him people jump right to you must be a racist? Your using failed logic Heavy.

You must not have understood what I or the article said. Only 46% believe there is NOT a global push for the New World Order. By the way, don't hate the messenger. I just thought this was interesting.

Antichrist is not a person according to the bible. An antichrist is somebody who does not follow the teachings of Christ. So a good chunk of people here are antichrists

We can just agree to disagree. These people actually believe he is the antichrist but for what reason?
I am not a religious person, so 1) I think the idea if Christ is crazy, 2) I think the idea of an Antichrist is crazy, and 3) the idea the Obama is the Antichrist is just bat shit crazy. But that is my personal opinion.
And to clarify... bat shit crazy because they believe he is such a terrible president that the world is ending... He is not as terrible as other presidents, especially Bush, so what is the difference? His skin color. The logic isn't that failed if you ask me. But again, I said it was my opinion. You don't have to agree. I just hope Jesus comes to save you from the evil dark skinned non-american with a fake birth certificate.
My question to you is why is it when a black man is President that 1/4 of surveyed Americans believe he is the Antichrist?
1) I know you can't answer that... only the people that were surveyed could answer it
2) How does logic have ANYTHING to do when discussing the Antichrist?
At least I took out the supernatural aspect (the Antichrist part) and simplified it. They don't like him.

Re: Obama the Antichrist and Hello, New World Order!
It could be as simple as the question is garbage so the only negative answer they can give for their disapproval of the job he's doing is hes the antichrist. Its a ridiculous survey but giving a yes answer to it does not make someone a racist. He's done a horrible job as president and people wanting to prove they aren't racist is most likely why he won office to begin with. Well that and a lack of an actual good person to vote for.

This is fine. Let it be known that I am not a racist, but I believe that racism is still alive and strong in this country, by many that probably believe that Obama is the Antichrist. I just think it is stupid and should not even be something people consider, and if they consider it, there is something seriously wrong with them.
If that speaks volumes about me, then that is something I will gladly pin on my chest.
And I am actually sorry that I sort of pinned the majority/minority thing on you... you were just posting an article and I looped you in with having the same standpoint of the author, and I shouldn't have.
