My experience is that they work in varying degrees. That being said, I'm on a very high dose of Zoloft, which is not enough at times like this past week where I have other issues counter acting it.

There are actually cases of anti-depressants worsening a person's depression. It's important to remember that most medications are meant to treat a general collection of symptoms and not only the symptoms specific to one person. It's just too expensive for the average person otherwise, which is unfortunate.

I think we can all agree that what needs to be addressed in a serious manner is mental health and the treatment of mental diseases. That is at the root of every topic of this nature that comes up, and it is something that the politicians continue to fail to address.
