Using Festus' Nicaraguan example. My family was agains the Sandinista side. If a Sandinista killed one of us, that was murder. If we killed one of them, it was justified. And vice versa.

Personally i dont care what you want to minimize the conversation to. As i showed its an across the board issue. Wanting to focus on just the military aspect shows you have a skewed opinion before you even give it.

They were. We called when enough was enough and went on the aggressive. It doesn't take a physical act to be the aggressive side. Unfortunately for him he didn't realize Clinton's personality traits were no longer in office.

We may have been the aggressors in Iraq, but there have been far fewer mass graves being filled since we went there. Saddam killed far more Iraqi's than we did. Also, the Kurds have been having a gas-free life since we showed up.

I´m focusing on the military and military conflicts because that´s what was being discussed. I like tackling one issue at a time, otherwise it gets confusing and then we end up comparing killing ants to killing people and how they´re alike or they´re nothing alike and then the whole point of having a discussion completely goes out the window.

I don´t think anything is across the board. You will always have at least 2 differing perspectives on any given issue.

Well, see...2 different opinions on the matter. Some think the U.S. was the aggressor when the U.S. decided to level and invade Iraq. And then there´s you who thinks they (the Iraqi´s) were the aggressors. So, depending on what side you´re on, in this issue, you´ll see one person killing another person in a totally different perspective than someone on the other side of the coin.
