I dint think its a double standard. Politicians gave themselves the reputation they have as being corrupt. Odds are most could do better then those in office. I'll even say those in office can do better. However you have to take the money out of the equation. That is where our politicians fail and anyone willing to look the other way from those groups will do better.

All of the other jobs do not have the influence being poked at them at even remotely the same scale. So it makes it easier to praise the job they do and it makes what politicians do look even worse.

Every day and there are plenty of other organisations pay their volunteers as well. The military is like all of them. They all make far less then they should for the job they do.

Its not killing for cash. The military does far more then kill. They actually prefer not to kill. That being said an e-4 can make a bunch more money doing the same job outside the military.

No its different. Even killing an unarmed enemy is illegal. Plus we dont shot first and give warnings so every kill is self defense.

To the subject of this prick. There will always be people who are anti-everything, in this case the military. Be it this ass, Jane Fonda or the 100 in between. All the same MO. Talk to be heard, hopefully followed, and then famous. The more controversial the better. It all ends with fame and fortune and there is never enough. Don't think so? grow up... Or you can keep dreaming about the perfect universe where there is no conflict, everyone shares the wealth, has a 2 car garage (wait, I want 3) and so on. Whatever.
