If the NRCC is getting behind this kind of candidate there may still be hope.

I wish that were the case. Guys like this get ripped to shreds not only by the MSM and Democrats (after all, we cant have some one who makes sense being in the Republican camp), but by his own party. We'll see.

Why does this mean there's hope? I mean, who cares? I'm tired of people who focus on this crap as if it represents social progress. What does this guy say about the issues? THAT is what matters. I think this thing where people place so much of their identity in what their sexual identity is is stupid. I don't discuss with people as a part of "who I am" the fact that I like sex with women, and I think it's stupid when gay people do the same.

Again I say, so what.

Yeah I'm sorry Ira today was crazy and I didn't have time to read the article. Sounds like he is talking the talk; but we'll see what he really does.

I think there are plenty of liberals in GOP clothing at the moment and I always wait for the other shoe to drop when I see stuff like this. Can't blame myself for being gun-shy after the last several elections...
