Thread: fuck goodwill(stores)

I can't imagine why someone would be angry at going to jail for doing something they thought was a good thing to do. I'd expected him to be smiling, making funny faces, and just overall joyous about being booked.

The bottom line here is that if Goodwill routinely slashed their prices at the register... there wouldn't be a Goodwill. There would be an abandoned building that USED to say Goodwill.

This kid is an idiot. If he wants to give something to people in need, have him start out with his own paycheck.

It was over $4000 worth of discounts given to the "poor". In Florida, if you steal more than $300 worth of property, it is considered Felony Grand Theft. I think the store was right to charge him, but in the end, drop the charges to make them look better from a PR standpoint.

I think this is what they did. They had him locked up, but then dropped the charges. I think that is a pretty scary lesson to be learned.

You know the more i dig into this the more i would love to see this corp fall to its knees. The CEO made 719k while paying people with disabilities as low as 22 cents an hour.
