ObamaCare sign-up numbers begin to emerge, show slow start amid website problems | Fox News

Here's a critical quote from the article:

One private-sector analysis showed that, during the first week, less than 1 percent of those who entered the registration area actually enrolled.

The review was released by Kantar US Insights, based on the findings of the Millward Brown Digital research firm. It showed 9.47 million unique visitors to the federal site during the first week, including 3.72 million who entered the registration area, 1 million successfully registering and 36,000 who completed enrollment.

The administration is not yet producing its own figures.

Holy shit that is HORRIBLE. If this turns out to be the case, this thing is worse than I thought. As someone who understands IT and web hosting quite well, I thought it was fishy that the Administration would not release or discuss enrollment numbers. Now I think we're starting to see why.

Why the hell are we doing this if no one wants to sign up for it?

It makes no sense to report how many people have registered and not how many signed up. They should just wait until the 30 day mark and give us the scoop.

I dunno Nuck. I mean they could post the numbers in real time on a separate page if they wanted to. What we're hearing though sure doesn't sound good. I mean they need to have at least 7 million people sign up just to break even...
