Where exactly what Cruz toasted? Maybe you can point that out. At the end of the video Cruz pointed out the obvious - allow competition and healthcare prices will go down. It's not rocket science. Every single thing Cruz said about the ACA law is correct.

He gets toasted for most of the video...so....

The only thing Cruz is proposing is getting rid of the ACA. So, he proposes going from a possibly (probably) failing fix to a broken system back to the broken system. All cruz does is mention various talking points, and he gets called out for not actively doing anything to fix the problem.

The intent behind Obamacare WAS to create a competitive marketplace, called the exchanges, which were supposed to drive prices down. However, the design, construction, and now implementation, are so impossibly fubar that the odds that the ACA works as intended is remote. This law will need a complete overhaul to work at all. It won't even look like "Obamacare" when that happens.

... oh and Cruz wasn't "toasted" at all. Just because Cuomo had some heated statements doesn't make him "right". If Cuomo would ask those hard, tough questions to Obama, Sebelius, or any number of Democrats who have voted for this Bill... then I might be inclined to care a bit more about his blustering. Otherwise its the same old partisan 'journalism'.

The only way you could watch this and think Cruz got toasted is if you are of the mindset that only the Government can fix your problems. Not you, and not the private sector. It was never designed to fix anything, its designed to be a revenue generator for the Fed.

The system wasn't great before and i dont think anyone has said different. However ACA kicks the crutches out from under tiny tim. We went from a broken system to an almost completely non functioning one. I'll take broken at least then i know whats up.

... right. As if creating a system to insure the 20 million Americans without healthcare might actually be a smarter idea that screwing up a system that covered the other 280 million.
